Just when I was about to give up on the snow and winter in general this season in the NorthEast, we got hammered by a rapidly intensifying storm!  Initial predictions were from 8-14 inches of snow here in Harford County, Maryland.  We ended up with at least 17" of snow from the system.

It started around 10-11am on Saturday - Feb 11th.  Mostly light snow for the most part.  The storm then deepened and moved up the coast by night time.  Around 10:30pm, the snow was falling at a good clip.  I was awoken from 2am-3am from thundersnow!  I looked outside, and saw white-out conditions.  Heavy snow, high wind, lightning, thunder, the works!  It was awesome!!  The storm was bombing off the coast due to the jet streams phasing over the ocean.

Please post your storm totals and experiences.  The snow stopped falling by around 9am Sunday Feb 12th.  We had a total of at least 17 inches of snow here in Bel Air, Maryland.

We might have another storm on the horizon for next weekend, but more on that later..
